Carla Sonheim's Class: Imaginary Creatures

I joined the Summer Art Camp, an online class about drawing and painting, and learned so much from Carla Sonheim.

It it abosultely so much fun and a very relaxing classes while the materials are rich and creative.  Most importantly, I think I had a bit breakthrough after some frustration from the classes in reality I've been attending recently.  Here I'd like to share with you some works I finished with the camp of first week.

參加了一個線上的藝術夏令營畫畫課程，跟Carla Sonheim老師學到很多。

這堂課真的非常好玩，而且教材豐富有創意，上課氣氛也很輕鬆。更重要的是，覺得自己終於在最近實體畫畫課的挫折後找到一點突破，現在跟大家分享夏令營第一周的成果。

This is a style that I really like and want to develop and the class is making my dream come true.  Carla is also a creativity workshop instructor, who helps recover learners to create with imagination like Lucy.  Only the approach is quite different.  From Carla's class I am able to discover the possibility of creating something not traditionally cute but still attractive pictures, which is exactly the style I was seeking.

這是自己真的很喜歡也想發展的一種風格，這堂課開始實現這個夢想。卡拉老師跟露西老師一樣，是以想像力方式幫助學員恢復創作力，只不過方式蠻不同的。在Carla老師的課程裡，我可以找到創作非傳統可愛感的可能，但畫出具吸引力的圖像，這就是我一直在尋找畫作風格。

At the stage of finishing the pictures, I used techinques learned from different teachers.  I like the paper tape collage on the rabbit and thanks to teacher Book for that.  We just recently did that collage excercise in her class.

I truely recommend Carla's online class.  But of course, it's in English.  Or, you can get her book - Drawing Lab.  There are many interesting and inspiring practices too！

在完成這些作品時，應用了不同老師課堂教到的技巧，我喜歡兔子圖上的紙膠帶拼貼，那要感謝布克老師，最近我們課堂裡才剛做這種拼貼練習。

真心推薦卡拉老師的線上課程，當然，課程是以英文進行。不然，可以參考她的書：畫畫的52個創意練習，裡面也有許多有趣具啓發性的內容喔！
