ATC: Deer in Winter

My ATCs journey goes well, although I am not a productive ATCs maker. Afterall, I have to be more focused on art development in bigger sizes.  If you have a look at my ATCs Gallery, you'll find that I've created different styles and started using mixed media on the cards too. 

One of the latest cards just done a couple days ago inspired me to make a little deco for my room.  I bought a few 4 x 6" inexpensive and simple style photo frames from IKEA as supplies, knowing that sooner or later I can match it with an ATC to become an unique wall adornment.  When I finished the deer, I knew immediately it is perfect to go with a black mat in the frame.  I cut the cardboard and matted it by myself.

It is for the season, the deer and its color.  Something close to Christmas but not quite. Defintely for winter.  I like it with a sense of quality in the black frame and it's going to stay on the wall to my studio desk for at least quite a while. Not for trade yet.  =)

雖然在畫ATCs方面我並不是很多產，不過還是進行得很好，畢竟主要還是得多專注鍛鍊大幅的作品。最近已經累積了不同的卡片風格在我的藝術家交換卡作品集裡，而且也開始用複合媒合來創作。

前兩天就畫了一張讓我想裱框起來點綴房間的卡片，用之前在IKEA便宜買到的4x6"簡約風相框當畫框，做出獨特的裝飾品。畫完這隻鹿，馬上想到用黑色裱紙一定會很搭，而且是自己DIY裁紙裱配的。

這幅作品裡的鹿和色調跟季節很搭配，有點聖誕又還不到那麼明顯，一種冬天的感覺。很喜歡他在黑色小畫框裡呈現的質感，現在掛在我書桌前至少要好一陣子，暫時還不打算拿出來交換了。
